To start a manual clean, click the icon and select the “Clear Private Data” button. And the Extras section contains more advanced functionality such as deleting private data and stopping and clearing your Google sync settings.Īfter you have configured Click and Clean you can wait until you close your browser to do an automatic clean, or you can run a clean manually. The Actions section is where you can specify what actions are to be performed before and after a clean. You can also view the details for each data type by clicking on the small magnifying glass icon. You can set the time frame and what type of data is deleted. Under Chrome Settings you can set the actions you want Click and Clean to perform when you do a clean, either manually or automatically when you close Chrome. I recommend starting with Medium and then changing any extra settings from there.

Since the extension hasn’t been installed yet, click the green “Install Cleaner” button. Click the app shortcut and it will open the Click and Clean app privacy status page.
